Last Chance Grade
Last Chance Grade
For decades the 4 mile stretch of Highway 101 in Del Norte County, connecting the north coast of California and south coast of Oregon with the rest of California, known as Last Chance Grade, has been failing. In March of 2019, funding was approved for environmental studies needed for the project to bypass Last Chance Grade as a permanent solution.
That’s a great first step but we need to keep the momentum moving toward completion of this bypass. Contact your state officials to keep the momentum moving forward and not off the cliff!
